Legendary workhorse

HiLux has never stopped earning its reputation for reliability, and comes packed with features

On pick-up variants, a tailgate lift assist and damper make light work of pack-up. Standard on
Rogue, a motorised roller cover makes locking your load as simple as pressing a button, with
an auto jam feature to ensure nothing gets stuck (available as add-on for other grades).

Family chariot

HiLux Double-Cabs are especially equipped for family travel, with plenty of leg room
compared to Single and Extra-Cab variants, along with ISOFIX anchor points for booster
seats. All grades (excluding WorkMate) include rear USB ports and map pockets to keep
boredom-busting devices charged and organised on long journeys.

Smarter entry

Providing your keys are nearby, you can open doors without
|manually unlocking them and start your ignition with the
push of a button. A panic feature on your keys lets you push
and hold to activate the indicators and horn, spooking
would-be intruders remotely (excludes WorkMate).

Enhanced displays

Behind the wheel, a hi-res, digital Multi-information Display
lets you view your speedo, tacho, odometer and more.
Customise your cockpit by selecting which instruments to
display, such as map view for head-up navigation. On the
centre multimedia screen, enjoy compatible apps via touch
or voice command.

Clever cameras

Get the full picture on HiLux SR5 (AT only), Rogue and
Rugged X with a 360-degree Multi-Terrain Monitor. Double-
Cabs include a digital Panoramic View Monitor for SR and
reverse camera for WorkMate.

Introducing the Toyota-first Cabin Detection Alert System, with a Millimeter-
Wave radar that can monitor driver and passenger vitals. It’s designed to re-
awaken drowsy drivers or alert passers-by if a child or pet is at risk in the
cabin when parked.

Trailer Sway Control

Stay on the straight and narrow and tow safely. HiLux comes standard with Trailer Sway Control, an intelligent safety technology designed to correct and help minimise sway^[S1].

Downhill Assist Control

Simply push a button to activate Downhill Assist Control, designed to help you avoid locking up on slippery, steep and rocky downhill sections. Standard on SR 4x4 Extra-Cab and Double-Cab (AT only), SR5, Rogue and Rugged X.

Road Sign Assist (speed signs only)

Front-mounted smart cameras recognise certain Australian speed signs and alert you when it's time to change your speed^[S1].

Pre-Collision Safety system

Using the HiLux’s built-in camera and radar, the Pre-Collision Safety (PCS) system has been designed to alert you when a frontal collision is likely with another vehicle, pedestrian or Daytime Cyclist, and if required will help you apply the right amount of brake pressure^[S1].

Lane Departure Alert

The HiLux will sound a buzzer and display a visual warning on the Multi-Information Display if it senses you have veered out of your lane while travelling at more than 50km/h^[S1].

Dynamic Radar Cruise Control

Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC) can observe up to two vehicles ahead, to help reduce your chances of a crash^[S1].
